Crossover of creative techniques. During this project, our designers pushed the degree of alienation between typeface and materiality to the extreme. Sensible solutions were to be found in proximity to the product—material surfaces and movement patterns were the inspiration for us to explore new avenues.
On packaging and digital applications. The idea is a radical change from the previously used technically-inclined vector designs. It consists of freely drawn symbols and images, whose hand-drawn character translates the brand’s commitment to »innovation in craftsmanship«.
The adidas World of Sport is extending – We put a face to the change process.Adidas STAGE 5, Architecture Competition. Using experimental typography and outstanding design, we’ve been appealing to architectural firms all over the world to contribute their concepts for the expansion of the adidas campus in Herzogenaurach.
